What Go Silph is
Go Silph is a Pokemon GO reference built for players who want to know what to power up before they spend the stardust: raid counters ranked by DPS and total damage, PvP rankings for every league, a full Pokedex, the live event calendar and the current egg pool.
Data that follows the game
Stats, movesets and rankings are recalculated when Niantic ships a game update, so a rebalanced move shows up here without anyone having to remember to edit a page.
Tools, not just tables
DPS and TDO raid counters, PvP meta rankings and search-string helpers — the things you actually open mid-raid or mid-cleanup, designed to be readable on a phone.
Free and account-free
No login, no paywall, no data collection beyond the basics described in the privacy policy. Ads pay for the servers.
How the data is produced

Source data
Every Pokemon stat, move and game mechanic comes from Niantic's GAME_MASTER file, decoded and maintained by the PokeMiners community — the same file the game client reads.
Raid rankings (PvE)
Counter rankings are calculated from DPS (damage per second) and TDO (total damage output) against each boss's typing, using the current move data. The approach follows the method shared by DialgaDex, adapted for this site.
PvP rankings
League rankings come from win-rate simulations across the meta, evaluating each Pokemon head to head at its league CP cap. The framework builds on the work of PvPoke.
Update cycle
The pipeline watches for game updates and reprocesses rankings, counters and competitive data automatically. Event, raid and egg data is refreshed daily.
Editorial standards
Raw stats come straight from the game files, but every guide, ranking write-up and recommendation is written and reviewed by a human who plays the game. Counters get tested in real raids, the GO Battle League meta is followed season by season, and nothing is recommended that we would not use ourselves.
When Niantic rebalances a move or the meta shifts, the affected guides are revisited rather than left standing. Spotted something wrong or out of date? Tell us and it gets checked and corrected.
