Mewtwo is pure Psychic, weak to Bug, Ghost, and Dark. Counter it with Ghosts (Gengar, Giratina), Dark-types (Tyranitar, Hydreigon), and Bug attackers. Beware: Mewtwo sometimes carries coverage moves like Focus Blast or Shadow Ball that punish specific counters, so check its moveset before committing a team. It's a hard duo and best with 3+ trainers. Psystrike Mewtwo is elite for both raids and Master League, making it one of the most valuable legendaries you can invest in. Shadow Mewtwo, when available, is the raw-DPS ceiling.
