Metagross is Steel/Psychic, weak to Fire, Ground, Ghost, and Dark. Fire attackers (Mega Charizard, Reshiram, Chandelure) and Ground options counter it well; the raid is duo-able for strong teams. As an attacker, Metagross shreds Fairy, Rock, and Ice bosses as a Steel, and doubles as a Psychic nuke. Mega Metagross is the best Steel attacker in the game. It's a foundational build that stays relevant across every meta shift — one of the safest stardust investments you can make.
