Understanding Move Stats

Fast Moves

Fast moves are your primary attack. Each tap generates energy that charges your charged move. The key is not just damage — it's how quickly you can reach your charged move.

PWR Base damage dealt per use before multipliers.
ENG Energy generated per use. Higher = charges your charged move faster.
DUR Animation time in seconds. Shorter = more taps per second = more DPS and energy.
DPS Damage Per Second (Power × 1000 / Duration). Raw damage output over time.
EPS Energy Per Second (Energy × 1000 / Duration). How fast this move charges your charged attack. Often more important than DPS — a fast move's main job is to fuel charged moves, which deal the real damage.

Charged Moves

Charged moves are your heavy hitters. You spend the energy generated by fast moves to launch these powerful attacks. The best charged move gives you the most damage per energy spent.

PWR Base damage dealt per use. Higher power moves hit harder but usually cost more energy.
ENG Energy cost to use the move. Lower cost = you can fire it off more frequently.
DUR Animation time in seconds. During this time you can't dodge or attack.
DPS Damage Per Second (Power × 1000 / Duration). Useful but doesn't account for energy cost.
DPE Damage Per Energy (Power / Energy Cost). The most important metric for charged moves — how efficiently you convert energy into damage. A move with 1.5+ DPE is excellent.

Tip: The ideal fast move has high EPS (charges quickly) with decent DPS. The ideal charged move has high DPE (efficient damage). In raids, the combination matters — a fast move with great EPS paired with a high-DPE charged move will outperform raw DPS alone. These stats show PvE (raid/gym) values. PvP uses a different turn-based system.
